Arrive in Chiang Mai, hotel check-in, free time and dinner.
Elephant trekking and mountain trip. Check-out after breakfast. There is an elephant
camp approximately 60 km north from Chiang Mai located on the banks of the Ping River
in Chiang Dao. Under command of the so-called “mahouts” (elephant trainers) these amazing
animals perform miracles of strength and stamina. You will have the opportunity to follow
a fascinating elephant trek through the jungle, bamboo forest and over bridges.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant. After that you will go to the local villages where tribes,
recently emigrated from Myanmar, now live, and then visit the Aka and Palong tribes. There is
a stop at Pang Daen School, where you can take part in children’s classes. You will be driven
to Hmong Hill Tribe Lodge for an overnight stay. A Dinner and show is provided.
Breakfast in the hotel. Visit the Hamon tribe. Then drive to Baan Muang village through a
mountainous area of Mae Tamann. Once you arrive at Baan Muang, you will go to see the
waterfall, where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. A picnic lunch is arranged there.
The most exciting and fascinating adventure then starts: inflatable boat rafting along the
Mae Tang river (in case the river is too rough and dangerous at the time of the tour, rafting
can be excluded from the program without prior notice). Then take the transfer to the airport.
