BLUE CANYON COUNTRY CLUB

The legendary Blue Canyon Country Club is considered by international media to be one of the highest quality and most prestigious golf clubs in Phuket. It is located in a green valley of 720 acres, against the backdrop of the majestic mountains of Phang Nga and overlooking the Andaman Sea.
It features two award-winning courses, Canyon Course, which built in 1991, and Lakes Course, which opened in 1999.
Blue Canyon Country Club has become famous for hosting the prestigious Johnnie Walker Classic international tournament. This club is the only three-time host of this tournament, which took place here in 1994, 1998 and 2007.
Other prestigious competitions were also held here. For example, Tiger Skins in 2005, Thai Airways International Thailand Open in 2005, Honda City Invitational Tournament in 1996.
An absolute event in the club's history was the performance of the legendary American Tiger Woods in the 1998 Johnnie Walker Classic tournament. In honor of the amazing shot he made on the 13th hole of the Canyon Course, this hole was named after him "The Tiger Hole".

Canyon Course

One of the most outstanding and prestigious championship fields in Asia. This masterpiece has been created with minimal disruption to the original landscape of an abandoned tin mine, surrounded by rubber plantations.
Framed by freshwater lakes in perfect harmony with nature, Canyon Course brilliantly showcases natural hazards, tall trees, challenging tees, long fairways and well-guarded greens. As the name "Canyon" suggests, the holes of the course are located along the edges of the canyon with boulders, cliffs and thickets.
The course has an interesting combination of narrow, tree-lined fairways that require accurate straight tee shots, a few doglegs, and fast greens. Each of the 18 holes has its own peculiarity, which makes the course memorable for all players.

Lakes Course

Designed by renowned architect Yoshikazu Kato in February 1999, this 7,129-yard championship course is capable of challenging the best players in the world. It is a mixture of water-filled canyons and preserved natural relief. Its first 9 holes pass through the landscape of lakes and natural canyons, while the second 9 holes are crossed by picturesque lakes and thickets of rubber trees.
